Default formating & smilies disabled - PMs & New?

I've sent a couple of PMs, or starting a new thread (like this one, for example) non of the formating or smilies seem to be on?works fine for me when replyingIs it just me? (I can type the code for a smiley: , and it works, but nothing happens if I click on an icon).

Well, I may be able to live without smilies, but formating like keeping my paragraphs doesn't work, so all my posts are one, big, looong, hard-to-read, dense paragraphy. Just checking to see if the typed in formating codes will work: this is an example of BOLD text
and this is italic text.Okay, that seems to work. Smilies? (
Looks like some of the smiley codes are different . . . .
PARAGRAPHS!!! MY KEYBOARD FOR PARAGRAPHS!!! (please?)

Default Looks like I fixed it! (I'm a genius!)

Okay, looks like I'm talking to myself here, LOL!

I changed the formating options to the standard choice in my CP, and looks like I got my smilieys and paragraphs back

So there!
