Lightbulb Avatar and "my posts"

Well, trying out my first "new" thread here

When I first came over here my avatar was bigger, I like that. Now I picked a new pic and is it smaller. I also noticied others had bigger/smaller avatars. How does that change?

Also, is there a function that is similar the "my posts" on the old board?

Thanks! I am lost, so many options here it seems!

Steph,

The max. dimensions allowed for an avatar is 100px by 100px. You can re upload your avatar if you want it bigger as yours is only 100px by 64px right now.

I will try that Thanks shepherds, you have been great.
What about the "my posts" thing, the only thing that I can find is my subscriptions.. is that the equivalent?

Good question - photobucket elimated the avatar sizing thing some time ago. My avatar had not worked for a long time so I took it off til I can get home and do another one. I can get on photobucket at night in my CHU but I just have not, thought about doing it now that we are on the new sight but have no idea how.

Help.......

I found these in google which might be of use. I use Pixelmator on my Mac to resize and crop my photos, but there is also something called GIMP which is open source and available for Linux, Mac or PC:

Resize, Shrink and Crop Images online
mypictr - we make your profile picture
iResize.com - Free Web Image Resizer
Free Online Picture Resizer - Crop and Resize photos, images, or pictures online for FREE!
Pixenate - Edit photos online, fast and easily - No plugins required.

Default Smaller Avatar

I have a similar question. I posted a new avatar and sized it to 100x75 pix, but mine still looks smaller than some others.

Natalie's (just above) is bigger!
I want mine to look bigger too.................

Thanks,
Ania
