Active Topics vs New Posts

What's the difference?

I'd prefer if one of these options were set up like the old board format where it would show the most recent threads instead of the most recent posts.

It seems like both of these options are pretty much the exact same thing which is kind of pointless, but maybe i'm missing something here...

I agree. It would be nice if one of those showed new threads instead of new posts/replies.

Yeah it doesnt make sense to have two links like that for the exact same thing.

I don't know if it's even a possible option to change things, but i like the "Active Topics" exactly how it is.

Would it be possible to change "New Posts" to something like "New Threads"?

I like New Posts better than Active Topics, because it also shows what section of the forum posts are in.

Maybe the "active topics" section can change to include forum sections like it does in "new posts" while changing "new posts" to "new threads"...?

This way everyone wins.

I don't believe that there are any options to change those things, though I could be wrong. It's the software, and we work with what we are given.
