Stuff we like about the new board

Since I've complained about the picture sizing and being in casablanca, figured I'd have something nice to say!

I really like the active topics - if you've already read the last post on the subject, the link is a lighter blue than one you haven't read the last post.

The private message notification is nice too. On the old board, the flying envelope didn't usually show up on firefox, there would be a space there if there was one. This is much nicer.

Controlling the font size is much better too. Before there was something flaky that I had to set everything to a minimum of 14 pitch or I'd go blind here and felt like an old lady every where else.

Hmm there's other stuff I like too but I'm very glad it mostly works the same!

I completely forgot the board was changing, I haven't been on here in so long when I did come to check in here I was completely caught off guard! Ha! I love change though, so I will dig in and see what is what.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE being able to post a picture right from my computer without having to upload it first!!

Yeah Lauri that's going to be sweet! Sometimes I take something very cool and can't wait to share. Look out, I'm going to have to buy a crackberry! (mostly so I can say crackberry)

I like the new board as well,,definately for the picture posting SO EASY! and hey I figured out how to make myself an Avatar!! something I couldn't do on the other board!,,I think this board is easier for a computer dummy like me to figure out

I like the handy regarding 'bold', 'italicized', 'underlined', etc. in the posts. Saves messing with BB and HTML.

Sorta miss the little window in the upper right that told you what the latest posts were....have to open a different page to find out instead of having it handily there.

But I LOVE the color scheme....I'm really into fall colors like bronze, rusts, browns so this pleases me immensely.

what is up with that
its gonna take some getting use to
I am a member on another board that is like this and hate it
anyway of changing the colors

Yeah I like the colors too. Didn't care for that little window on the right becuase it took up space.
