Default picture sizes

I seriously dislike the thing to click on a picture to see it full size.

That's obnoxious to have to click on every picture when you want to see someone's picture thread and it's got a lot of pictures. I want to see the pictures, I just don't want to click on every single one. Hello, that's obnoxious (that's the most polite word I could think of!)

Tweaked around with my personal settings for that, couldn't figure out how to make THAT go away. One thread I opened, I could see the images going by full size while it was loading. Then they shrank...

Jenn:

The reason for this discretion is due to how user post an image.

1. If they upload an image straight from their computer, vBulletin automatically resizes the image and creates a thumbnail.

2. If they use the "insert image" icon or BB code to link to an image that is hosted on the internet, then it will show in full size.

The mods and admins will be strictly enforcing image dimensions to make sure users are adhering to the existing rules.

Is there any way to show the image at a certain size? It looks like there is from the options on my cp but none of it does anything useful.

This is one of my pics that's resized in photo bucket - I'm just curious how it comes up

Okay so 'keep original size' works great for a picture that's been resized to the acceptable size. Nevermind and thank you.

Oh it appears I am wrong. Pics are automatically resized now. This can be changed. Read Richard's post.

Yep, the first thing I noticed was this feature. It does rather take away from the spontaneity of scrolling through a post with great pics and captions.

I'm confused....if I download from photobucket by righclicking the...I think it's "image code" then I won't get the the shrinky-dink size?? What does "BB code" stand for, and where does one find it. Sorry...it took me forever just to figure out how to use and post from photobucket!

You can turn off image resizing here:
http://www.germanshepherds.com/forum...do=editoptions

1. Scroll down to: Please select the resize mode.
2. Select the option: Keep original size

Click the save button at the bottom of the page to store your changes. And then revisit this thread. Your image should automatically be shown full size to you.

Thanks
Richard
