Watched Users...

i knew there was going to be something for me to complain about, although i tried to be easy. is there an equivalent to the "watched users" from the old forum. i see the option to add as 'contact' or 'friend', but i'm looking for a way to stalk people, i mean..... read posts from select members or group of members.

I would go check out the options under User CP above,,there are loads of options listed on the left side of the screen when you click into that

been there done that, i just haven't gotten the t shirt yet because i'm not sure if i'm missing something.

found subscriptions, folders, contacts, friend - but nothing with the option to only view replies and threads by a group of hand picked [finger clicked?] individuals.

I don't think there's an option on vBulletin to stalk people in this manner. The most you can do is add them to your friends list and then in their profile, you can find all their posts.

Yung, what is the difference between a "contact" and a "friend"?

The definition that I saw said a friend is mutual and the other person has to accept. The contact is just on your end.

What I can't figure out is what do you DO with friends and contacts.

Wouldn't that mean then a contact WITHOUT making them a friend is just like the watched list we had before?

If you create an album in the board Gallery and make it PRIVATE - then only your friends (and the Mods/Admin) can see the pictures.
