Default Read or Unread?

So I haven't had much time lately to read threads and so I have a TON of sections that show that I need to get in and do some reading, will this transfer over or will everything show as either read or unread?

I hate change, but you're making this so much easier!

On the new board you will see the following icon next to the forum name if you have any unread threads in there:

-------------------------------------------------------------

Once you go into that forum you can tell the threads that have unread posts by the icons and the fact that the thread title is bolded:

--------------------------------------------------------------------

One REALLY nice option is to mark all the threads in a forum Read - even if you didn't read them:

But I'm assuming that when the board content is moved what I have as read and unread for me won't move?

I think for the very first time you log in when the site conversion is done, everything will show up as unread. It's a default setting.
