Pictures in signatures

I tested over on the new site - please tell me that pictures are not going to be allowed in signatures once we go live.

I'm confused which isn't unusual.

Are smilies allowed to be in sigfiles or not? I've noticed that some people are continuing to use them so I'm assuming they're allowed, but haven't read anything that they're an exception to the "no pictures" rule. Can you please clarify this for me?

No, they are not and if we see them we will ask people to remove them.
