Okay I'll be a squeaky wheel. The gs.com logo/top of page banner doesn't seem "right." I look at the left and I see I am on a shepherd board, and I look middle and right and I think I am on a sod board. I think the site would look better without the grass. The font on the logo also does not fit so well. I *love* the sheppy photos, though! The old "stamp" logo was so nice and so simple- that's what set it apart from the other sites. It was classically stylish. This is kind of gaudy.

I do not see ads as I do hosts blocking but, Shepherds, PLEASE do not allow ANY pop-up ads. Please?

Also, is there a way to get rid of those ads that show up in the middle of thread posts? It's very distracting, annoying, and disruptive to the content. Can ads be kept at the top of the page?

Other than that, it looks decent and reads similarly to this one. I hope it will not have too many ads. This board was so special for its minimally intrusive advertising. I sure hope you endeavor to keep advertisements to a minimum.

No questions on usage, seems pretty normal thus far... I like the colors. Would be nice if the brown bars were a little lighter so as not to be a huge contrast, but I like it.

I do miss the smilies that we have here hopefully they can add those later?

LOVE LOVE LOVE that there is spell check option along with the other new options but seriously spell check thank you. when I post at work I don't have firefox fixing things for me

I really like the new homepage as well, I never even went to the homepage on this site since it didn't offer anything but now I'll actually use this one as a starting point.

I do wish the recent threads shown on the homepage were also listed on the forum page instead of having to click "active topics" and then being taken to the home page to see them

I second MORE smilies!!! I love that we have so many and that they change with the holidays/seasons.

I also agree that there is too much grass in the banner.

100% agree with Diana and the comment regarding the smiley faces. I LOVED the old emoticons.

Other than that, I like it. It's decent, well put together, not hard to navigate, and familiar, as I am already a member of several vBulletin boards.Which also means I'm used to the number of advertisements. I hope the PM limit doesn't go down too low

I'm going to really miss this current one, though.

If you are using Firefox, I highly recommend the add-on Ad Blocker Plus.
