From the My Stuff option at the top of the screen select My Profile.

The very first thing is your Username. If that is different from your display name then you know you need to contact the Admins AFTER the change over.

Your password is also on that screen but it doesn't show up - just ****. So, you can wither change it to something you will remember or you can use the log out option at the top, then go back to log in and click where it says "Have you forgotten your login information?"

It will send the info to the email address you have in your Profile.

Thanks Lauri! I never type anything to login since it is on permanent remember me status I am uber lazy (well actually I would just never remember all the different user names and passwords for all the sights I use- I mean I order EVERYTHING online and have username and passwords for all of those in addition to all the boards and such!).

I'm exhausted so things aren't quite fitting in my brain right tonight.

So when I log in here my username is fillyone. On the new board I'm going to be fillyone?

And the only way to be Barb E. is to have the fillyone changed to Barb E. (once on the new board of course!)

Do I have that right?

But to the subject of this, I get locked out whenever I forget my password and have to log in. - has happened twice in recent memory - (I don't log in - it became auto on my home computer.) I have a gazzillion passwords at the office. I have no patience for them and refuse to add one more to my brain.

Lucia, back when my hubby registered it wasn't even an option to have different login and displayed names. But he never posted a single time, he just looked at the picture threads. I saw that he had already registered, so I started posting under his username, and after I'd had several hundred posts (signed "Cassidy's Mom") I asked an admin to change the username for me.

Everyone has a Display name. By default it's your user name. It shows up above your Avatar and when I quote you it shows up at the top of the quote box.
