energy V drive, i apologise for another definiton thread

sometimes i think i got it but other times i don't (like most things). so can someone untangle these two similar but different things i can't even pose a coherent question to ask, throw the word hyper in as well please.

To me, energy is just that, energy ~stamina included along with work ethic

Drive is more of an inherent need to hunt, fight, chase prey( or a ball), eat, etc.

Hyper is the same as energy, but possibly unbalanced, so no work ethic or stamina, no off switch

ok think i get ya, it is hard to imagine a dog tho with high drive and low energy? but i think what yr saying is that drive is a behavoural trait where as energy is a physiological thing?

Both are genetic, but I think energy can be enhanced by nutrition, lack of exercise(crate or kenneling) and temperatures...where drive is there, you can 'build' drive, but the dog genetically has it or not.
