I just got my dog spayed a month ago. I was thinking if I can get a limited registration with akc. I want to try to train bubbles to do some sort of dog sport. it has to be easy for both me and bubbles. bubbles does not run very fast so we know we will lose but we want to have fun.
I found out bubbles is of working lines and she needs something to do. Right now her exercise is pulling me around on a bicycle but I'm sure it gets boring for her. any suggestions ? |

My favorite beginner sport is Rally-Obedience. It requires very little training, just that the human needs to learn the signs. The dog needs to be able to walk by your side, turn right, turn left, sit, stay, down. At higher levels the signs get more complicated. Novice level is all on leash, but after that it's all off leash.
ETA: There's also the "come front". I know some people who have career rally dogs.
