Is this a weird/wrong way to train?

I train both my dogs at the same time. They get competitive with each other for treats so it makes for their obedience of basic commands very strong. For example if Smokey does listen when I ask him to come inside Zeeva will sometimes also follow. But at the same time for example for a sit, stay, if one doesn't stay the other follows; or if one chooses not to come inside when I ask the other doesn't as well.

Is it wrong to train two dogs at the same time?

I would advise against it for sure! Training should be done 1 on 1 .

I have three dogs, 2 out of the 3 have gone to several one on one classes. I train them(all 3) separately and together. They have fun when they train together and I don't see a problem with that, but they should get some one on one time too.

Back when I had the Pack O'Shepherds (4 of them) I used to do training will all at once.

The rules were:

If I said a dogs name and then the command - ONLY that dog performed that command
If I gave the command with NO names - everyone had to perform it

Didn't take long for the pack to figure it out. Haven't tried that with my current pack yet.

I train them together and separately. If I call the whole group it's "Doggies, come!"
Usually they all come when I call one dog but only that dog gets a reward. Training them together teaches impulse control: one in a down stay while working / playing with the others. Also let them out of the door /car by calling their names individually. I love it.

i think you should try training 1 on 1 (one on one).

I train together and separately and also taught them to take turns. As an example, if I have one ball in my hand and say Annie's turn, Harley won't run to get the ball when I throw it.

Both. There are a few things that I do with both dogs at the same time, other commands I teach separately. Lola is only game when treats are involved. Dexter is happy to see a tennis ball during training. It works out well, when I need some 1:1 time with Dexter.

I'll train with all three together and separately. I don't see a problem with it. I've noticed with some things, they seem to learn faster when seeing another dog performing the command.
