Default Anti chewing spray - on a dog

Hey there,

I was wondering has anyone sprayed anti chewing spray directly to a dogs fur?

My little dog keeps getting mouthed on her back by my GSD puppy .

I want to spray the anti chew spray by whal directly on her back .

Is this safe ?

Thanks for the advice.

It depends on WHAT spray you're spraying on her. We sell a product at work that can be safely sprayed on the dog and prevents them from licking/chewing due to the taste. But I wouldn't recommend spraying just anythingon the dog.

You might be better off in the long run working on a "leave it" command. Our pup chews/plays with our other gsds and he's having to learn this. You may also try to redirect her to some other toy or engage her in play yourself.

It's a bitter cherry spray . She listens to leave it but I'm sure she 'bullies' her when I'm not here, although they also play happily.

I just wish she respected that the smaller dog is a lot smaller than her .....

I'm probably being overprotective as they are good buddies generally .

I think a bitter cherry spray should be fine... Somebody more knowledgeable can correct me if I'm wrong.
