Had to run many errands this morning with appointments spread out over the morning. Instead of leaving WD home I took him with me.
Practiced the obedience exercises and agility techniques wherever we had to park so he saw many new places and worked between cars, on shopping mall lots, weaving through bike racks, navigating architectural structures etc. We played fetch, searching for toys, waiting at side walks etc. Then off to a Home Depot where we practiced sit and down stays, ignoring people and in tune with each other. It also taught him to patiently wait in his crate in the car, impulse control getting out etc. Awesome dog my WD! Where did he leave his crazy puppy antics? Hope to read your real life training stories too.

AWESOME ... that's EXACTLY how I trained Ky on a daily basis ... everywhere ... and I still do it ... For me training isn't in increments ... it's life!!!
Sounds like you guys had a blast!
