This dog tests my patience daily, but boy do I enjoy working with him. He has a great attitude for the work.

You've obviously put a lot of work into training, that was a awesome video
. Dalmatians fascinate me, their appearance and personality are unique. I'd love to get one one day when I finally get my farm with lots of land .

Thanks!
Yes, its been a lot of work but he has been a fun dog to train. He is also starting to mature a little (finally!) and becoming more driven and focused. I'm glad I'm taking my time with him and letting him grow up before competing with him more.

Beautiful dog. Now that I have owned both a dalmatian and a GSD, I can say that the energy level of both dogs is pretty close to the same. I think the Dalmatian required more exercise(and I was a lot younger then too). I didn't see them around for a long time and within the last month I have seen about three different ones in my area. I would not mind getting a dalmatian if I came across one

The breed was designed to literally run all day, guarding horsed drawn carriages, so yep they are supposed to have all that energy haha. I find it funny that a lot of people who own working breeds like GSDs tend to have a real negative opinion of Dals, when they are very similar in a lot of ways. I think most of it has to do with people not understanding just what a Dalmatian is SUPPOSED to be.
