Some more training?
hey guys! Ankit here from India. Ok firstly, awesome job with the forum. Helped me a lot in finally deciding to buy my first GSD. No wait, my first dog ever!
I'll be getting him home in mid December (can't wait but breeder says not before 45 days. Boohoo) !!! Will go & pick him up myself. Since I'm sailing, I just wanted to know how long did your GSDs take to learn basic commands? I wamt to train him myself cos I'm still to research trainers in my area! Also, wat other tricks have u taught ur gsd? How do u keep him occupied? I have a few exercises I've seen like placing handkerchiefs with different people's scent & training him to pick out the one with only mine or something to that effect. Any suggestions? Will put up some pics wen I bring him home!! |
