rear-end awareness

How do you teach it? We were supposed to start today, but will have to wait till next week. I know WHAT it is. And I know the basic premise of using the tub (or other object). I've watched a few videos, but I guess I can't translate it to what "I" need to do.

Anyone have a heads up so I can get a head start?
