Default Mt trainer wants to keep

my pup for a week at his place. He told me last night at training that he'd like to keep him out there around some more confident dogs and see how he does. He did this with another dog and there was an amazing transformation int he dog. I dont know how to live without my baby! He's such a lover at home. I wont be dog-less.....but he's my baby!

If it's just a week of mostly socialization to get confidence, I would maybe agree. Heck sounds like a week away at summer camp for your dog.

I do NOT like to send my dogs away for formal 'training' and obedience cause those are skills I need to be in on so I can use them when I get my dog back

Though what's the chance you can visit and SEE what's going on and how your dog is benefiting?

The chance is very good since I will have one of his dogs at my house for training/socialization indoors. I go to his house for training 1 to 2 times a week. I think Aspen needs to be around a few confident dogs and new noises, sounds, etc. I am excited to see the results, but sad I will be without him for a week!

I know I have leaving my dogs and miss them... but it's good to make them less reliant on me and know they can, indeed, get thru the world when I'm gone and I do come back!
