What NOT to do

Can I safely say that coddling is one of the worst thing you can do with a puppy? There is a guy in my apartment complex that treats his dogs like they are the most insecure things in the world. My Mona is a 5 month old GSD and extremely well behaved, but every time we see him in the hallways and in the neighborhood he coddles the h*** out of his dogs. "It'll be ok she's just a puppy." "Don't worry Lila it's ok. It's ok Lila don't worry. Lila it's ok she won't do anything." All the while the dog is wagging her tail and just obviously wants to play. This guy completely ruins my day every I see him just because I feel sorry for his dogs. Sorry I'm rambling...

Yes, I agree coddling is bad and it makes me sick to see people do this!

yes, what he is doing can lead to insecurities and problems with his dog
