Default Training heel to front

And have it straight... and then front to heel. In both cases, I'd prefer the dogs butt to hop into place and pivot on the front feet... not a casual (even if quick) walk to the position. I have an idea that I will share once I see if it works...

Well, your dog's heel foot position is not the same spot as where he will be in a front, so you will not be able to rely on him pivoting either way.

Have you worked on rear-end awareness in any sense? How's he doing on heeling already?

Yeah.. not purely a pivot, but close to it, with a position tweak in there somewhere. I went to a rally obedience seminar this weekend (I don't just do machismo SchH stuff with my dogs and they said the front to heel had to be a hop into place basically.
