I use my local petstore to train all the time. I try and go in on weekends where there's a lot of dogs (usually the weekends) because in working on getting dodger to focus on me when there's other dogs around.

i took tj and bella to petco 4 the first time they barked at everyone 4 about 5 min then it was great . barked at a few other dogs but not the people

I never let my dogs interact with other dogs there. It's for distraction only. Even going to the same class every week for 8 weeks,the dog gets used to the other dogs in the class.

I understand what you are saying, I was thinking on more of the puppy stages, I always wanted pleasant experiences in the early stages, but hey to each his own.
