i'm not one for e-collars or e-fences. i think a lot
of people misuse all sorts of collars because they use the collar as short cut to training. i guess some dogs need them. i always question the owner of the dog. my dog is taught not to bark at the door if someone is there. my GF is a massage therapist and she has clients that come to our house sessions. my GF didn't want her clients being greeted by a barking GSD. sometimes when we're in the back yard deer will come close to our yard. our dog will bark at them but i can say "no barking" and he stops. when it comes to the e-fence, i taught my dog boundaries.
