Default Dog Training Item

I am looking for an item to help me with a problem my Nitro has when we are not home. He is so well behaved when we are home and on his walks and in public. But when we are gone, hes into the cabnets and has shattered so many of my dishes for getting them out of sinks and off counters. Ok so I saw this item once, it was a motion sensored item that did a burst of air. Has anyone seen or heard of this? It know this wont hurt him and will help him learn to stay off my counters.

I think that question everyone will ask is: why not just crate him?

Put the dishes away or get some correll wear. That stuff bounces pretty well. Trust me on that one, 3 young children and 2 german shepherds - one of whom will remove a plate from the table with her teeth and put it on the ground to eat what's on it.

I vote for a crate or large x-pen.

I have to appologize for not responding to this sooner. I was caught up in preparing for, and under going surgery.

Ok Nitro cant be crated. He gets overly anxious and self mutilates. Its why I wanted the motion sensor air sprayer.

It sounds to me like the problem with being crated is similar to the problem with the counters and cabinets, only he expresses it externally when he's not in the crate.
