Hi. That's quite a broad question. The possibilities are almost endless. I have struggled with this a little bit, mainly because I simply was not being creative with it. I suggest you take a look at these two threads (there are many others on this website, just use the search function and you'll find dozens if not hundreds of threads about it).
If I could wind back the clock, at 5 months old I would have been doing way more engagement exercises and games with mine this is opposed to taking him for walks or to the park to play with every dog he came across, just cos he was so cute and confident. Engagement games are our favourite thing to do now (although mine is 21 months now), and many of them aren't strenuous on their bodies at all but the training aspect really tires him out. I wish I started when he was a baby!
Start doing off leash hiking. If he's a wanderer use a check cord. I limit to 30ft. Also, it was suggested to do nose work by people on here. I've just started. It is great exercise.
I wouldn't play fetch with her. I did to run mine and it was too hard on her elbows. Tug is good for her. Long leash or off leash hikes. Introduce her to swimming. Playmates of similar size, age and temperament are great if you can find them. Start with tracking or nose work.
You can give her a walk twice a day and go her on a swim. Dog loves to swim and it is good exercise too.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
