Pinch collar?

What are some opinions on pinch collars/prong collars? Ive had people (gsd owners) suggest them more than anything.

I like prong collars. Hate pinch collars. They are so difficult for me to use. And the dog ends up pulling anyway, and gasping for air. The prong stops pulling completely.

Yeah, I hate chokes as well. I love prongs. Supposedly it's a tool that you use and take off when problem is solved but for me it will be a lifetime collar

You guys use it for correcting for just pulling or if the dog is doing unwanted chewing or biting?

prongs are good - in the right hand, fitted properly..

Please know how to fit one.

https://leerburg.com/fit-prong.htm

they are not instruments of torture and you should read how to use them.

my dogs only need a flick of the wrist to be 'in control.'

Good luck

Look for quality when you shop for a prong like Prong Collars, Pinch Collars, Dog Training Collars, Curogan Collars, Chain Dog Collars, Fur Saver Collars, Choke Dog Collars, Herm Sprenger Collars. Depending on the collar you choose, you may need link it with a back up while training with one, some prongs can come apart.
