Default Bo's Training Log

He is 20 weeks old as of today and just wanting to post what he knows and see feedback if anyone has any good or bad.

These are what he absolutely knows what to do 100% of the time when motivated with no distractions.
1.) Come
2.) Sit
3.) Shake
4.) Lay
5.) Leave it
6.) Stay
7.) Stand
8.) Up "Like jump up in or onto something"
9.) Go to bed "Gets in his crate without a second thought"
10.) Go Potty "Goes pee nearly immediately"
11.) No "Immediately stops what he is doing but loses focus too soon"

His recall is about 80% with distractions of other dogs at the park playing he will go past them and come. I let him play after he comes to encourage that coming is not a punishment.

Here is a little video I posted on another post but wanted to add it here.

Smart boy. You should be very proud of the work your doing with him. Of course, now you will have to keep us updated on all the new things he's learning . Cant wait to see. I think alot of us hate our voices when we are talking to our dogs lol it can get pretty goofy.

Thank you. He is really a great listener and really wants to succeed at anything I tell him. He's the most social I've ever seen a dog I've owned. Very calm and out going. This isn't a trick I taught him but he can find cat poop within a mile and a foot under ground... really wish I could break him of that one. Lol

I really want to teach him tracking and to find me, my fiance, and my daughter since he has a gift of finding cat poop lol.

Play hide and go seek.

My dog likes his own poop and cat poop too! I stopped letting my cat outside cause of that..
