Clicker training at home VS non clicker training class

My puppy will be 8 weeks old next week. I am very interested in clicker training, but there are no classes anywhere near me. There are plenty of obedience classes/puppy kindergarten classes in my area though. I'm trying to figure out which would be better. I want him to be socialized and to learn in a structured environment, but clicker training seems more effective than regular obedience training. Opinions?

You should be able to use your clicker in a group OB class - maybe check with the instructor/s of the classes. Personally, both my puppy and I got a lot out of our puppy classes, and you have to keep the training up at home, so you'd have plenty of chance to use the clicker. I would think it would be helpful to be consistent, though. Good luck and have fun!
