Flirt pole?

I am wondering if it is safe to use a flirt pole with a puppy. My girl is about 3.5 months.

I am talking about swinging it in a circle or dragging it along on the ground, not having her jump. Just chasing it and tugging.

Thanks!

Not sure what the experts say, but we did it with ours. Keeping it on the ground and avoiding jerky movements, we never had an injury from it. Be careful with the tugging on those puppy teeth.

Should be fine.

I probably overdid it with my girl but shes a monster. The only way for it to be any game was to move it super fast, otherwise she had it already.

You can incorporate some obedience while playing with her. You can even make your own flirt pole.

It is not only safe, but also AWESOME!! Flirt poles are a lifesaver for tiring out a hyper puppy. My last GSD was really drivey and was a major landshark, I don't know what I would have done without one. Safety wise, just don't make her jump too high or crash into things, and she should be fine.
