His first puppy class.. what to look for??
 

We are going to sign Lincoln up for puppy class today. I want to know what I need to observe at the sign up today? The class doesn't start until next thursday. It is a 6 weeks course. This is the website of the training place

I don't have to bring Lincoln to the sign up. Is there any good/bad to bring him with us? Should he meet the trainer before I actually sign him up?

How old is he? Is this a puppy socialization class or an obedience class? Most puppy classes I've seen have a limit of something like 4 months or so, I see it says up to 6 months... Are the puppies going to be engaging in free play/have a lot of close interaction? That could be an issue if there will be puppies that are really far apart in age, because there is a lot of difference between say a 10 week old and 6 month old and older puppies can be very boisterous and rough playing.
Are you able to observe a class with the trainer before signing up?

What is this? Open enrollment of some sort? Lol.

You should go and observe a class before joining. Its no use observing the people signing up or the instructor's interaction with those people. I'm sure some questions will be asked and answered but MOST trainers are great sales people but who knows what their techniques are and how they transfer to the class.
