Easy walk harness!
I just want to tell anyone who has a puppy that just pulls I have the answer!!
It was to the point I didn't want to take my girl (9 months) of a walk around the neighborhood. How sad that is -- because I was exhausting. I have. 4 1/2 month old boy too. I was given recommendations from others on the site about the easy walk harness. So I bought two on amazon which by the way are half price than the box store. Everyday I've been taking Both of them together for walks around my neighborhood . They both walk beside me on the left in a perfect heel, I'm getting ready to go downtown with them. I was given good advice and just want to pass it along. Sent from Petguide.com Free App |
My GSD walks fine on a leash, but my two smaller dogs pull like crazy. They will pull until they choke even in a regular harness.
We just got the gentle leader harnesses for them yesterday and it was like night and day. No more pulling. It was great! |
The easy walk harness worked for my golden...he did not like the gentle leader.

I have heard good things about the Gentle Leader harness (it's not the head one - it's a front clip one) and have used the EZ walk on fosters, particularly labby types - that is great!!!!

Kylie walks beautifully with the harness. I tried walking her once last week without it and she went right back to her old behavior of lunging after cars that drove by. With the harness on, she completely ignores the cars.

I also use a harness with my male. He is a PULLER.
He chokes himself like crazy if he is on a plane collar or choker. I tried a facial martingale and no-go. My harness fits about his neck like a collar and has two straps that go under his front arms back up to go through an o ring on either side of the 'snap' and then attaches to the leash. We have Wonderful walks now. My female is perfect on leash with a choker, she never pulls. |
