Poor Baby
i have a one year old gsd and she had an inury at about six months and it wasnt the hip but in the ankle? which healed in just a few days shes always so hyper talkative and ready to play but now when we go to the park after a couple throws she wont even bring the ball near me to throw it again she seems to be fine camping and running around the yard and being a dog. ive taken her to two vets and they have said she shows resistance in the hip of the same leg she had the injury. i will admit being my first gsd i may have worked her a little to much and that could be the problem on the developing joint but she never cries about it unless the vet is checking the hip by pulling/lifting the leg 180 degress or takes to sharp of a turn in mid strife during playtime which is how she had the inury in the first place. i just need consolidation but a 300 dollar xray just makes me want to cry for how much i have tied into my little angel for the giardia she contracted at a young age as well. iis there anything i can do to slow the process if it is hip dysplasia? or could her leg just have soreness like a bruise on your elbow?
