Default Is he marking his territory?

Hi all,

My 5 month old keeps peeing all around my place. I take him outside and he will do his business. But still, usually soon after he will pee anywhere and everywhere. I have had him for a little over two months now and this is becoming a more common occurrence. Is he marking his territory? What would be a good way to stop this?

He can stay in his crate all night and then let it all out when I take him outside in the morning so I think he definitely has good bladder control.

If you cannot supervise him he should be crated. I would have him leashed to you at all times he is in the house so you can interrupt him if he tries to pee. He is not marking his territory he was just not potty trained properly.

Even in adult dogs I still believe "marking in the house" is a potty training issue.

take him more often. you have to watch him
like a hawk. how long have you had your pup?
i think at 5 months old he should be house broken
as far as going to the bathroom in the house.

Just to be clear, are you saying he is "marking" or whatever, peeing IN the house? Or is this outdoor behavior?
