He won't stop...for a while anyway. You need to manage it.
Have a toy on you at all times and put it in the pups mouth when it starts to bite.
Do this all the time.

Do not correct or scold the pup if it bites or chews on something other than the toy.
Don't set pup up for failure.

Keep at it. It will diminish in a few months.

What worked for me was when my dogs bit I would say ouch and walk away or put them on the floor and would leave them for about 5-10 minutes and come back later and played. Just have to keep on it. If he is teething have u tried ice cubes or a frozen wet washcloth. My dogs loved them and helped with the process a lot better.

Well, some people here will disagree with me, but when that young I've always flicked them on the nose immediately when they bite. Has always worked for me.

I agree. It's not a hurt, it's a correction and a mother/pack thing. I include a deep, growly firm NO. Followed by ignoring to show my displeasue in the behavior.

I absolutely disagree with that suggestion.

Unless you like to end up with a dog that may flinch away from your hands and be headshy as it grows.

My hands are a GOOD thing and I want my dogs to want to come to them for a collar, leash, toy, treat, or a pet.

When my puppy JUST WANTS TO PLAY and I am flicking them on the nose enough to make them stop, it's a correction. And puppies have no idea that it's the BITING that we don't want............. they will just know everytime they want to play with us the get punished. Play = punishment isn't something I want my pups to learn.

It's much better to TEACH them how to play properly rather than PUNISH them for doing it in a painful manner (but the only way they know until TAUGHT something else)

If you go to the puppy section Puppy BITING!!! Teaching Bite Inhibition you will realize this is a puppy thing that GSD puppies are just really worse about.

you, your house and everything in it is
a nip toy for the pup. when my pup nipped
i use to hold his mouth and say "no biting".
my method didn't stop the nipping, i think
my pup grew out of the nipping stage.

thank you all for suggestions. I was scared that he was becoming aggressive towards me, but he had never growl or bark at me or anyone else or pets. I take him to puppy classes and he also try to bite other puppies but nver growl at them.
