Default Introducing my pup and crate question

Hi this is my new pup onyx he's just over 8 weeks. I have this crate for him and a divider inside which he is resting his back on. My question is do I need to cut off more space for him to the left so he doesn't make in the cage or is this good enough.

That size seems fine for now. You will need a larger one as your grows.

What you have for him right now looks fine, as he grows bigger you will have to expand it so that he has enough room to stretch out and turn around in. He looks to have plenty of room in it for the size he is now.
