Hey everyone. My husband and I got our GS puppy about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Potty training was going well with very few problems, until two days ago when it snowed about 5 inches. Now, our puppy will pee outside, but refuses to poop outside. I even shoveled a very large spot where he would normally poop and now, when we bring him there, he plays and does not do his business. Once we give him and bring him inside, he instantly poops inside. Any suggestions??? Any advise will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

Stay outdside longer.
![]() If it gets to the point where you need to come in to warm up, do NOT just turn him loose. Either crate him or keep him close to you on leash. If he acts like he has to "go", scoop him up and take him back outside. They can only hold it for so long.
