Great job! What a nice offleash area you have there, right there in the city.

It's not easy at first, but I make him stay any time i get a chance in the down position. When I'm eating dinner, I put him in the position and release him when I finish, and on every walk we train for a few minutes. Than once a day is a 15 minute session in the park. He's gotten to the point I can go inside a store and he won't budge until I'm back. In the house I have an E-collar on him so I am able to give a correction even when not on a leash. if I give a command and he ignores it, I follow up with a NO. 99% of the time he follows the command when he here's that word, otherwise he knows a correction follows.
