I have a 5 month old pup who has done well with basic training. He knows commands such as sit, stay come, off, no, lay down, and go to your bed. We have hit a bit of a wall with training as we have run out of new ideas for training. I am wondering what other things we should/could be training our dog at this age? I would like to get him into some sort of searching eventually, but I am thinking there are more basic things I should teach him first.
Please let me know if you have any ideas, and if possible please elaborate on how to do the training. Thanks!! |

I think that you really should look into obedience clubs or classes in your area. The socialization will do wonders for your baby. I used to start the majority of my pups by laying drags for them at a very young age. This really helped them when it came to tracking.
