Default Crate Training Issues

Puppy is currently 12 weeks old, and I am still having issues with the crate.

Once the crate is closed he will bark non-stop for 10-20 minutes. After this period all is fine until he is let back out.

I am moving into an apartment complex tomorrow and really need to figure out how to stop this.

I already feed him in the kennel with the door open. I randomly put him in at different times to avoid him thinking I am leaving or that he will be in for a long duration. Past 2 weeks I will put him in the kennel and sit right infront and reward him for being quiet. Unfortunately none of this appears to have helped the situation.

Thank you in advance

Have you given it treats and also fed it in the crate? You need to associate the crate as it's den and safe area.

I used to feed it meals in the crate, give it treats in the crate, etc.

Mine will go into the crate on her own when she gets tired...
