Default Doesnt want to walk?

So isis is still very young. 8 weeks, but we go for walks at least twice a day. Every couple of steps she stops sits and whines. If I look away dont say anything, lightly tug the leash and move forward she continues on, then repeats the stopping and whining again a bit more down. Why is that? She will also only wall behind me. Is that cause she is scared?

Sounds pretty normal to me- puppies that young get tired fast. They might also be frightened of unfamiliar places or leaving home. Keep walks super short or carry your puppy on them. Keep it fun with treats and toys too so your puppy learns not to feel scared.

Don't worry, soon enough you will be sitting down and whining to stop the walk while she pulls you forward :P

You are not going to get very far with an 8 week old puppy.

Malice does very good on leash, got her at 11 weeks old and she keeps up with me on walks but I wouldn't have expected her to walk on leash at 8 weeks old.

It sounds like she's scared. Try to make it fun--take a toy or a piece of a yummy treat and use that to encourage her to move forward. Or take her somewhere where you can run and she can chase you.

My experience with pups is that they can do decent walks at a young age. Chama was walking 4 miles a day by the time she was 8 weeks old but we did build up to that over a couple of weeks. However, if their temperament is a little timid then new experiences can be overwhelming so you just want to concentrate on making everything really, really fun.

Thanks im sensing she is scared to, cause if a car passes she freezes. I have been hringing a few treats and giving it to her when she is walking. May need to bring toys to and more treats

Try something irresistible like pieces of real chicken! Another thing you can do is to remain confident and make it clear to her that you have everything under control.

When you see a car coming and it's still far away start playing with her or throwing treats for her (away from the street, of course) so that she hopefully will get desensitized to the sound).

I wouldn't worry about her not walking at this age, I'd worry about lack of vaccinations!
You aren't supposed to bring 8 week old puppies out until they've had 2-3 more vaccinations.
There's no reason to be walking her at this young age anyway. If you're concerned about her learning leash training, let her drag a cheap dollar store leash around the house for a few days.

I should probably clarify she hasnt interacted with any other dogs either. if we see a dog coming we will pick her up, and that has only happened once. And leash training is low on our list right now lol she is a pup and hasn't even been home for a week.

It's not so much about interacting with other dogs; it's interacting with other dogs' feces. Parvo is spread through contact with the feces of infected dogs, and even an amount that you can't see because it's too small or has been ground down into the dirt can transmit the disease. That's why they tell you not to take puppies to places where dogs go, not just to stay away from other dogs.
