Hi i have a 2 month old female german shepherd i take her out every 2 hours or so and she is doing fine i give her treats and praise her for going outside. The problem is i have to work from 8 to 5. So i put up a playpen and put a pee pad down so she would go on that. But i also heard it that can teach the dog it is ok to pee in the house. i dont get to take lunch till 12 to 1 sometimes. What is the best thing i can do right now to help her potty training.

I have a 10 week old puppy and he will pee on the floor if I somehow miss the obvious hint of potty need.(He'll sit in the hall and look at the door, as opposed to his normal sleeping in the hall.)
He's had 3 potty accidents in the three weeks I've had him. But for some reason he doesn't pee or poop in his crate. He's able to handle 8 hours of me sleeping without the need to pee. I've never even put pee pads of any kind inside because my opinion is that the dog does his needs outside. |
