WT-Metall Dog crates for sale, Aurora, IL

We are thinking of selling our WT-Metall crates. We had them custom made (extra reinforced walls and doors, extra ventilation, thicker floor mat and the size) and they are in excellent condition. One of the single boxes ( w/2 doors) has never been used and the other 2 were used only for a short period of time.

We are selling the double box and 1 or both of the single boxes. All have keyed locks. I know that these crates are very expensive, but if someone is looking to buy them, they are well worth it. One of our dogs had previously went through about 4 or 5 of the 500 Vari crates but could not budge this WT-Metall crate (it still looks brand new). When we got these, we went from a 4 box trailer with all the bells and whistles back to crates. Our reason for this was that we wanted our dogs back in the car with us. We travel all over with them training, trialing and showing them and we just felt safer and more at ease with them in our sight.

I have attached picture of 2 of the crates. The 2nd single crate is the exact same as the other one with 2 doors except it does not have the 2nd door as shown in the picture on the, it is just a wall. Once I get pictures of the other crate, I will post it. I will also take some more pictures of the double and list some measurements.

Price for the crates are as follows if picked up locally:

Double Crate $2,500
Single Crate w/2 doors= $1,600
Single Crate w 1 Door = $1,500

We have a few leather tracking lines for sale and some leather bite collars and leather harnesses as well...

Just out of curiosity why would anyone pay that much for a crate. A safe perhaps but a dog crate.

Quality. That is the same as asking why would someone pay only a few hundred dollars for a dog and others pay in the thousands.

These are quality crates.

Double Crate = 44"wide X 40 " Long X 30 " Tall

Single Crate w/2 doors= $1,600 23 1/8" wide X 38 "Long X 30 " Tall

Single Crate w 1 Door = $1,500 23 1/8" wide X 38 "Long X 30 " Tall.

Sorry, I kinda of incorrectly listed the description of the 2nd crate w/1 door in the initial post. So here it is:
Here are pictures of the single crate w/ 1 door. I forgot to mention that it does not have the extra cross bar on the door but it has the additional ventilation that has the extra reinforcement bars around the top portion of the crate and the walls are extra reinforced.

WOW !!!! I have a single WT Metal with 2 doors - only paid $650 plus 200 shipping from NJ to PA.....when I wanted a second one, it was $900, picking it up at the Regional....don't know what the differences are....

Wolfstraum ..Not sure of the differences between your crate and mine. I am in Chicago... I did get thicker walls, additional reinforced ventilation and doors. Not sure if your locks or not? The size of the crate also plays a part into the price. The standard single and double crates are smaller than these crates.

Alama..If you can go buy a WT-Metall double crate for $650..I say "Buy it quick".

We have a double and I can see straight away the one advertised has more reinforced bars. The side windows on ours has no verticle bars at all and only one crossbar on the door. WT does offer different levels of sizes and reinforcments.. But you gotta pay for them, WT is proud of their stuff that's for sure!!
