Default Wanted: 4 dog trailer

My Jeep can barely contain my two 500 crates. I do not have enough room for my SO let alone my camping, hiking, kayaking or biking gear. Anyone have or know of someone looking to sell their dog trailer in Norther California.

I've never heard of a dog trailer, is it specific for dogs? You can also look up livestock trailers for sale in your area, there are small ones made for transporting goats/sheep/miniature horses that should be the right size.

Yes, there are dog trailers specific for dogs, specially vented and insulated so they can be warm in winter or stay cool if it's hot and sunny. Each dog compartment locks, and some of the trailers have a top that pops up with some depth so you can store all your equipment under the top.

Some have air conditioning units on top, too! In my little village there is a place that specializes in truckcaps, they make the Animal Control caps along with dog trailers.
My TD has a trailer and his bulldog destroyed his compartment last week, had the insulation and wood out, almost made it into the next kennel!
I would get a trailer to haul the camping, kyaking, bikes, etc and keep the dogs in plastic crates in the vehicle. Probably easier to find a plain trailer than a dog trailer for the $.

Me too. Not to mention what happens to the dogs if someone behind you is not paying attention.

You can find some pretty nice dog trailers. But I know I would be worried if someone ran into the back of it with the dogs in it too.

My boyfriend is always telling people that our horse trailer with living quarters is now a dog house for the dog when we go on vacation. LOL
