All right I bought this leash probably a year ago for my first shepherd and honestly dont use it much i like the smaller/thinner leashes for my hands. I would like to trade this for either a thin leather leash or anything really or if someone would really like one just PM me your address and why you need it and in the next week or two someone will receive a nice used leather leash.
It accidently got wet once we were out on a walk and got caught in the rain but I had put leather protecter on it when I first got it in the mail and once again before it got wet so it's not brittle or damaged, in fact ill put a picture of it up in a little while. It's been sitting in a drawer and I figure someone can get use out of it. Loki just chewed through my favorite leash I used so i need to buy another one which is why i suggested the trade and will in the future know that i can no longer hang leashes over the doorknob! ![]()

Yeah, he hasn't been too bad about chewing but he's 4 months old so randomly he will find something that isn't a toy.

Dont they all chew something they arent supposed to? Be glad it was a leash and not the carpet like Rocky has done many times, including once so bad we had to rip it out of the whole room!

It wasn't quite as bad as my other gsd when she was a pup she ate a nice corner off of one of my college Psychology books it wasn't a cheap book and the corners of some pages where words were at went missing.

I'm a sucker for rescue volunteers and it will be going to GSDTrain for her rescue work. Both of my shepherds were adopted and without these volunteers I wouldn't have my wonderful fur-kids.
I just ordered a mountain dog leash for the time being until Loki stops chewing leads! Oh and he LIKES the taste of bitter apple..he certainly lives up to his name.

Good for you Aidan! Volunteers need all the help they can get! It can be quite expensive being a volunteer or a foster...so it is nice when they can get the tools they need at a good deal!
BTW, my dogs LOVE the taste of the bitter apple stuff too! In fact, everything that is supposed to deter my dogs from doing stuff, seems to entice them even more! UGH!
