i'm completely newbie for tracking.
few months back i did tracking just laying some treat on the floor and have her track and she did good on it. what would be my first approach as how to get tracking.... i'm considering joining the club soon..... she is 11months old now. any suggestions would help. thanks |

I was given the suggestion of reading "Tracking from the Beginning, by Gary Patterson"... I found it to be very useful and interesting read.

Gary Patterson's book is excellent. Though I have used a few other references over the years I still find his book the best for SchH tracking.

Something else I highly recommend is watching good dogs track. This will give you a goal, a picture, to train for.
