Like what are all the Schutzhund titles? Well, technically IPO, now.

I think this covers them all.

New Titles and Regulations

Edit: Just kidding. That does cover some of it. Basically you can do 3 tracking levels, 3 obedience levels, 3 levels of tr+ob together, 3 IPO levels, FH1+2, and the AD...I think that's most (or all) of them. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like I'm missing something..

I'd personally rather see a dog's nose on the ground.
FST (Footstep tracking) in Schutzhund looks good but in practice is not much good (basically it is too slow) for "practical" tracking (SAR, Police).

That's true, though you can start training your dog in tracking from 4 months.

You can start Schutzhund training in general at that age, but I was just saying that titles can't be given until the BH is passed (which is at least 15months old anyways)

Yup, I got that. Typically I've seen people hold off on major bite/protection work until BH has been completed, ditto for tracking, mostly because people were so focussed on the BH. While I would agree on holding off on the bitework, I'd encourage people to get into tracking as soon as they can.

Interesting..In my Schutzhund club we start the foundation for all tree phases pretty much from the start. We don't exactly 'train' for the BH, but we train for all levels of Schutzhund and just have to stop and get our BH on the way there.

Both SDA and SchH/IPO have tracking by itself BUT you still need a BH (or an FO for SDA) to continue. After that you can do TR1-3 (or T1-3) and FHs (the SDA T3 is like an FH).

I just now got around to reading that link....
So SchH titles aren't going to be SchH anymore? They're going to be IPO?

Yup, no more Schutzhund. I think most will continue to use the word out of habit. Technically it's all IPO now.
