Beginner training book/video

Can someone recommend me a book or video that will help me get started in tracking?.. I know very little about it and would like to do some tracking with my pup.

Tracking from the Beginning by Gary Patterson is a good one(SchH)
If you are in a club, usually the TD or other members will help guide you with laying scent pads and short tracks.

What style of tracking are you wanting to do? Schutzhund, AKC, police?

For Sch type stuff, "Tracking Dog", I think the author is Glen Johnson, off the top of my head.

Good overall book, "Training the Competitive Working Dog" by Barwig/Hilliard

For hard surface tracking, HITT Method, by Steve White.
