I need articles!

Do you mean articles for tracking? If yes, I got a piece of carpet sample from a local flooring store (ask for a sales sample for a discontinued style). I got a cheap leather belt from a chain store (Wal-Mart or Target), and a 1 inch by 8 foot by 1/2 inch thick piece of baseboard from a home improvement store. I cut them into 1" by 4" pieces. I wound up with about 25 of each, except for the leather belt pieces. I got about ten of those.

The rule book says that articles cannot be larger than 1" by 4" by 1/2" thick.

Hey! How about checking out the dollar store? They always have a whole bunch of interesting articles. I've gone a couple of times and found a wide assortment of stuff, depending on what level the dog is at.

I did the same except I sacrificed a old jacket instead of the carpet.

For SchH I just buy them any time I order anything else from a SchH equipment supplier. I don't have my own wood shop and would not otherwise have scrap leather, carpet, or wood lying around so I buy them since they are a dollar a piece. I also have a few random objects I've used, like an old treat pouch, a few lids from small plastic containers, a leather leash coupler I never use, a small scrap of roofing material I found on the sidewalk, my extra clicker, a few folded piece of suede cut from an old puppy rag.
