Shane's puppy-ness shines thru!
Yesterday was a rainy day, a perfect day for tracking!
 I laid a short track for Shane with 3 turns on a nice open field, and the 2nd to last leg crossed over about 15 feet of a gravel road. Shane did WONDERFUL on the first turn, I was so impressed! And then the second turn, again, YAYYY!! Then thru a shin-deep puddle and over the gravel road, we were doing AWESOME!! And then.....Shane decides its time to goof off and munch on the grass like a cow while he was walking! So he got off track, it took me a few minutes to get him re-focused and get back to where we were on track, but eventually he found the article, even though I did most of the work!!! But I made sure to praise him, give him tons of food, and took out his favorite toy and made a big fuss over him finding the article so that was the last thing he remembered walking off the field. Sometimes Shane does so well.....and then he pulls stuff like that, it makes me remember, he is still just a dopey puppy

I hear you Kelly!
Stark decided to play with the article the other day, then when I asked him to "aus" he lunged away from me, I dropped the leash, and we played "keep away from mom" for a few minutes...
