What's up with the name avitar and smileys?

I don't know if it's just my computer or what.
There has always been this cool little GSD head beside the shortcut to log on. But lately it seem to change. For awhile it was a book now it's an R/C. Has any one else experienced this?

Second, the smileys used to be animated now they aren't. Example, the rofl guy used to roll around laughing now he's not.
Is it just me?

Hmm...I don't remember the GSD head by the login. Let me try the smiley icons...

They work for me, maybe its your computer? Maybe try clearing out the history and stuff?

at my work the animations don't work always and most of the time pictures don't load. it have no explanation for that other than something to do with the bandwith or something (i work for the government so a lot of things are restricted/ blocked, etc.). maybe it has something to do with that??

No Lauri, it's actually right on my desktop (shortcut) which I also added to my taskbar on the bottom of my screen in 'Links'. It was the coolest little profile of a GSD for over a year, then the other day it was something else, now it's a book and at the top of my screen right now in the address, it's an R/C in a box in front of the http://......
It also apears on the window tag on the top of my screen.

Do you mean the little picture that comes up next to the name of the forum in your bookmarked favorites?

Sounds like you might be having a system resource issue. Try running disk cleanup and defrag from all programs>accessories.
If this doesn't work check your system resources by going to task manager>performance.
